Dawn puts hardware in space and
is building a reusable space plane.

Mission

Fly to space, twice a day

We’re working to become the first company in history to fly the same vehicle to space, twice in one day. Together with the worlds highest performance green satellite propulsion, this brings us into a future of simple, inexpensive and frequent orbital access.

PhilosophIES

START SMALL. TEST. REFINE. THEN SCALE.

We are on the track to success, having already achieved a number of world firsts. Like being the first company ever to have a 3D printed pressure vessel pass European Space Agency (ESA) qualification standards. Leveraging the latest in design and manufacturing, while working in the world’s leading regulatory framework, our technology is fast on-track to achieve hypersonic, suborbital and orbital access.

locate Strategically

New Zealand - the ideal location for New Space
With an environment unparalleled for development, regulation and uncrowded skies, New Zealand allows us to fly further, faster than anywhere else.

Delft, Netherlands - An aerospace hub in Europe
With close connection to TU Delft, ESTEC and a thriving new space economy, we have first sight to the world’s best and brightest astronautical minds.

fail safely, recover, then learn, fast.

Our recoverable and fully reusable system allows for a development, failure and iteration cycle unachieved in any other aspect of rocket development. After every flight we’re able to analyse our aircraft, rewrite then test again. By failing safely and being able to recover our aircraft after every failure, we’re able to move faster than anyone else.
